iPrescribe Wins Digital Health Award for Mobile E-Prescribing

We have to admit, it’s nice to be recognized again! Last week, the Digital Health Awards honored iPrescribe with Silver in the Clinical Mobility Tools category for mobile e-prescribing with AI-powered medication history and secure patient messaging. This latest honor follows last year’s MedTech Breakthrough Award for best new e-prescribing solution.

While we’re thrilled with our prize, we’re even more pleased that this recognition is spreading the word about the benefits of mobile e-prescribing to providers who are still tethered to the desktop. Mobility is key, and you can’t beat the convenience of using a smartphone or tablet to write, sign, and send a prescription from any location.

This award also highlights that the true power of mobile e-prescribing lies in connecting to other digital tools.

Using iPrescribe, providers can view their patients’ medication histories with just one tap, protecting against drug interactions and duplicate therapies. Patented artificial intelligence lets providers quickly choose pre-populated common instructions. They also get easy access to their state’s prescription drug monitoring program (PDMP) for e-prescribing of controlled substances (EPCS). Finally, and perhaps most importantly, iPrescribe makes it simple for providers to reach out to patients with secure messaging that’s significantly more efficient than making a phone call.

Congratulations to the Digital Health Awards Gold prize winner Renovia, and Elsevier for taking Bronze.

The Digital Health Awards honor “the world’s best digital health resources” for consumers and health professionals. This mission pairs perfectly with DrFirst’s vision of the Healthiverse—a united healthcare universe where everyone is connected to each other and the information they need. If you’re still confined to your office to write or renew prescriptions, download iPrescribe now for the best way to prescribe while on the go!
